First Outdoor FREE Community Health Fair of 2017

On Sunday, May 21 we kicked off our 2017 FREE Community Health Fairs with the Queens Christian Alliance Church in Flushing, NY.
We set-up our tents at Flushing High School’s Leavitt Field(s). All the soccer fields were being used for the Sunday soccer tournament that they hold weekly. It was a beautiful day and we met some wonderful people from both the church and community.
Patients ranging from their early twenties to late seventies received health screenings. Sixty percent of the participants were Spanish speaking. One third of the people we saw were from Ecuador with China and Colombia being the other countries with the most represented countries of origin.
Some of the individuals requested prayer for themselves and their families. Please keep their request in your prayers.
• Pray for “S’s” mom who is 97 and in a nursing home. Pray for her health and spiritual condition.
• Pray for “M’s” family.
• Pray for “R’s” son and peace in the world.
• Pray for “K’s” well-being, health and education.
• Pray for “L’s” health. She believes that God is a blessing in her life.
• Pray for “D.” He recently arrived in the USA due to religious persecution. He has needs for housing, work opportunities and health care. He is an artist and needs to find a place to display (sell) his artwork.
• Please pray for “M” who has terminal cancer. She is looking for more energy and wants to help the world.
